Last night I took a stroll up the hill to look at the Lodge. It has been utilized as a lab building for the past year, while a new one was built. Soon the porches will be gone... but not forgotten.

2010 Pig Dinner in the Books

2010 Pig Dinner in the Books

Twenty two Phi Gam Graduate Brothers attended The 107th Frank Norris Pig Dinner on October 9, 2010. The oldest running chain of Frank Norris Pig Dinners in the nation remains unbroken. The most experienced graduate brother in attendance, Tim Norpell, Class of 1941 kissed the pig on the snout and proclaimed the words "I greet thee o Zeus." The dinner was followed by a lively discussion of chapter business. A good time was had by all, and we all agreed that friendship is indeed the sweetest influence.

Web site upgrade, Paypal donation feature restored

Additional composites added to the gallery

We were able to track down composites for 1992, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. Check them out in the Photos section.

New Composites Added to the Photo Gallery

Just loaded 2007, 1999, 1983, 1984, 1983 and 1961. I got 2006/07 in the mail from Dan McKegney and the others came from the National Fraternity. They were the file copies from the national Field reps -- and some have some cryptic notes written on the photos. Hilarious! You can guess why some of the photos were circled. High GPA most likely. Login and check them out.

Things Joes can do here, besides look at the photos

Every registered user has a photo album on the site, and as Brother "Tennesee Red" Erwin has demonstrated, it's vital that all Fiji's post in good taste.

Everybody can also post blog entries that get fed to the front page of the site. If you can figure it out, it's also pretty easy to add photos to your blog, like this one. I found this classic pic when cleaning out the house last Fall.

Perhaps somebody out there can identify these cats. If you can, use the handy numbered outline and add comments to this post. That's another thing folks can do here to make the site come alive. Add comments to posts and photos. I think the commenting thing works. Give it a go.
